Car Bogs/Jerks Randomly at partial throttle: p28 + Hondata... TPS issue?
Hey my car behaves very strangely sometimes completely randomly. At like 5% throttle it will seem to bog and jerk. This only happens SOMETIMES tho- nothing in particular causes it, and it will only bog and jerk at light partial throttle. Also when going from >5% throttle to 0 throttle is will kind buck, not smoothly transition.
It only happens sometimes, and it happened ths whole time the car is running. So if i start it and its doing it- it will keep doing it til i shut it off. But if i turn it on and its fine, it will be fine until i shut it off again.
No CELs, Dyno Tuned.. think its a hondata bug? Dying TPS Sensor Maybe? Poor Partial throttle tuning?
Thanks for any insight...

My car did the same when my IACV was f'ing up. Fixed it (wiring.. shorted ECUs) and the problem is gone.

I have been having a similar issue with Hondata. Mine will buck slightly at partial throttle. Say coasting up to a stop and rolling back onto the throttle it will not transition smoothly. It will also cut out and buck pretty hard at WOT. When I shift it feels like there is a delay when the injectors cut back on. I am still trying to tune it out.

No help there either.

yeah i am good at WOT but patial sucks, but only sometimes. Its weird how it isnt consistent.
How do you check the IACV? How do you short it/bypass it?

any speed any gear- the throttle just has to be really partial like 5% ish. Also there isnt a smooth transition from partial throttle to closed throttle.
Its weird cause its so inconsistent, some starts itll be smooth and transistion fine others it wont....

Re: (turbotime)
do u have a GM 3bar map sensor? that might be the problem. also i know in uberdata, theres usually a fuel cut when u r at high vacuum, but there has been a fix for that. im not sure about how hondata fixed that problem

no im pretty sure i am using the stock map sensor... idle is bouncing for some reason... im not sure if its the IACV or a vacuum leak. Vacuum is pretty solid at 22". Could IACV cause a bouncing idle?
