Default Hondata Problem

I have a stage 2 with boost and datalogging, so i thought..I finally finished my setup and got everything running on my basemap. Went to connect to my laptop and the hondalogger says "this system does not have datalogging enabled" So i looked on the bottom of the blue box and sure ebough it says Hondata 2bd. Went back and in the recording i changed the port from com1 to com2 to com3 to com4 and still got nothing. Has anyone else had this problem? Whats the best solution if not, send the unit back? Thanks for your help.

Mike

I have a problem with the hondata datalogging as well... The serial # on the back of my hondata blue box says 2bd928

I can't seem to datalog. not sure what the problem is.

go to http://www.hondata.com and download the hondalogger.pdf file. you probably have to change the fifo settings on your labtop and then you have to make sure in the hondalogger program that it is enabled to the port you are using from your laptop.

well i did as you said and turned ooff the fifo thing. Still no luck. So i thought maybe theres a problem with the version 3 datalogger that i downloaded. so i reinstalled 2.5 and i was conmected to my ecu first time. So i am just going to run version 2.5. Thanks for the help.

EDIT: Just got an email from hondata. To run the version 3 datalogger You must go to the menu bar that says ecu and change your ecu type to version 2.5 OBD1 if you do not have the new s200 system.
