Default Hondata problem

Hey I have the hondata s100 with boost and everyday its hot outside the hondata doesn't seem to be sending a signal to the ecu. However, when I turn the a/c on to cool it down, it starts working right back up. I just thought that was weird and was wondering if anyone else is having this problem or knows what it could be.

I have been wondering the same thing. Is there a thermal threshold for any of the Hondata equipment?(blue box, chips)

Put a heatsink on the EEPROM! I was thinking about this not to long ago, haven't opened a Hondata box yet but it may need heatsinking as well.

The stock ECU doesn't need a heatsink for the PROM.

What's the deal with the S100/200? They stick all that stuff on a daughter board, don't they? Is that actually a known complaint?

I'm down here in Houston which gets pretty hot in the summer and I have been running various Hondata setups for a couple of years now and havent had that problem with any of them. May be an isolated problem.
