hondata options
okay i've read all the pros and cons of different systems and i've finally decided on the well loved hondata. i have a 1991 integra with a 255 walbro dsm 450cc injectors and i'm converting from obd0 to obd1. i was looking on lightningmotorsports.com at radiators since i need a half rad for my turbo clearance and i decided to look at their price on hondata, i then see all the options such as..datalogging rev limiter boost option g sensor module etc., which of these will i actually need and where can i find hondata with everything i need for the cheapest?
Well... This isn't really an answer to your question, but I think for the price and options, you will be more happy with Uberdata.
You can get the ECU from a junkyard and chip it yourself, or you can buy pre-chipped ECUs. The program is simple to use, and it is all plug and play with one of the many available conversion harnesses. (Evasive Motorsports has an ad at the top of the page right now and have OBD0-OBD1 harnesses)

I got a S200 with boost and datalogging for $445 from wiredspeedlab.com. That was the best price ive found. As far as what options you need, its really up to you. All you really need is the boost option, but you can always add options on as you go if you dont have the cash to get all of them at once
ya, im still researching uberdata I might be more interested in that. all this is new to me and gets confusing at times but its all commin together, this is the last thing i have to do in my setup and its the most confusing. where could i possibly find an ecu with uberdata already on it, then i would need a conversion harness distributor 4 wire o2 and whatnot?
depends on what you plan on doing....if you are doing the tuning then you want datalogging and the rom editor. If you just want hondata and a shop to tune it, just buy the S200 with boost option (boost option is needed if you have a turbo/supercharger). Yea WiredSpeedLab is right here where I live, and the guys are real good there....and good customer service/support.

uberdata has everything that hondata does.
The big difference is that there is no differance, just the cost.
You just have to trust yourself to do the mods, or get someone skilled to do them. I have repaired a half dozen ECU's done on here from crappy workmanship
People, don't advertise your Uberdata/Hondata services if you suck.
