Finally got the loot for Hondata, now which one do I need!?!?!?!
I looked on the Hondata website and I'm a little confused as to what all I need to have a complete Hondata System. I have a 99GSR, turbo of course, and I'm assuming a need a p-28 hondata ecu with Boost option correct? I just want to know everything that I need to buy so I am ready to roll. Thanks bro's!

If you're going to keep that GSR intake manifold, then you need:
1. OBD2-OBD1 adapter harness
2. Hondata s200 w/boost option

The automatic choice for which hondata to get always seems to be the s200b. What about the s100b for those folks (like myself) not interested in twiddling with all the settings and just want a safer, more reliable daily driver while under boost?
Is there any (good) reason why the s100b shouldn't be bought?

That's not fair. If he purchase the non-vtec ecu he will have to buy a rpm activation switch to get vtec working.
IM me for GB price on Hondata is going on right now. Look in the force induction for sale forum.
I can get you p28 ecu already socketed for hondata. and the obd2 -obd1 conversion harness. OR if hondata has them, the p28 with obd connector on the ecu already.
Let me know

Actually, I hope that wasn't wrong...but I think P28 is only needed if you are using the GSR manifold, otherwise I think you can use any OBD1 VTEC ECU.
Ah who am I kidding, I'm not even finished with my B series engine, and it's non vtec anyway!

Just got an e-mail back from Matt at Hondata and this is what he said:
" You will need both an 200 or s100 and an OBD1 ECU such as a p28 or a p72.
We sell adapted OBD1 p28's that will plug directly into an OBD2 car for $425
and the s100 with boost starts at $445. The total price and whether you get
the s100 or s200 will depend on what options you want with the system. "

Holy batcrap! I would find an ECU elsewhere for $100-150 and the most you'll pay for a harness is $150. Beats paying $400 something for an ECU with the old plugs soldered into it.
