Ditching edelbrock fuel management. D16 turbo, need help
I'm looking to build my blco and tune my d16 to 15-16psi. Looking for about 250whp. I'm skeptikal the the edelbrock link and extra injectors can handle this. Did some research and, well looks like I'm going with uberdata, unless I can get a deal on hondata. Even the edelbrock tech rep told me to ditch the extra injectors. Said they'd only be ok till around 12psi, and he actually suggested hondata, uberdata, and chrome.. LOL, what a salesman. Anyways I have a couple of hondata questions, to make sure I'm getting it right.
I need:
An OBD1 ecu (probably a p28 and have it socketed
An OBD2-OBD1 conversion harness
Hondata (probably going with the s200b) with boost
Injectors (looking for dsm 450's with resistor box)
Anything else I need?
OK, after I get all this, how does hondata interface with the ecu during tuning? Is the socket in the ecu plugged into the hondata and the hondata into the laptop? How does all that work?
How is hondata installed, is it spliced into the ecu harnes like a piggy back?
Is it easy to install?
Also, what's the difference in hondata and uberdata, when is comes to tuning?
Please don't flame me if I come up with more questions. I'm learning here.
