Default Hondata and boost controller problem

My brothers car just blew his head gasket last week and we replaced it with a cometic head gasket and some arp head studs. the motor is a fully built h22 in a accord turbo charged. When we changed the head gasket we also changed the boost controller and took the runners out the manifold. The car runs like a champ now but now the rpm's are cutting out at 6500 instead of 7500rpm. The boost also is going to 10 psi in first gear and then 16 psi in all the rest. We hooked the boost controller up three different ways and it still does the same thing no matter what.
The set up is:

Fully p&p head w/ complete ferrera valvetrain
darton sleeves
je 9:1 cr pistons w/ rings
crower rods
qaufie lsd w/clutch specaility clutch
drag 3 turbo kit w/ tial 35mm wastegate
prescion t3/t4 turbo
msd sci-l
750cc injectors
Hondata s200-b
gm 3bar map

Alot of other stuff but that is a brief descr. and the boost controller is a $25 home depot mbc. Can someone help me please

You've got that much invested in a great motor and your running a $25 boost controller? WHY? Spend a little and get a better boost controller - it's worth it!

we had a greddy profec-b and we had so many problems when we started tuning the hondata. So we took the profec b off and put a cheap mbc on and the car mad some descent power and the power didnt just drop off the chart like it did w/ the profec b. the bad thing about that was that the mbc wasnt ares it was somebody elses that was getting there car tuned and we had to put the shitty one back on. to make a long story short we have spent so much money on everything and so much time that we got tired of buying $400 bc's when $20 mbc worked fine. We just cant figure out why all of a sudden we cant rev the motor to 7500 anymore

thanks for the advice my brother is in the process of getting a mbc from boostcontrollers.com as we speak. But can somebody give me some input on why the rpms have been shorted by 1000 rpms? that is the main concern not the boost controller we just did the cheap mbc for the time being.(money)

Default Re: Hondata and boost controller problem (25 PSI CRX)

Thats what i thought b/c when we got the hondata tuned; Drt (ralph) , he set the safety boost cut at 17psi. It seems like that might be part of the problem b/c the boost does not go over 17psi no matter what way you hook up the mbc. Another thing it is doing is that it will only go to 10psi in first and when it does go to 15-17psi it holds it doesnt just cut out. Thats what as us stumped. If it was a boost cut it would happen as soon as it hit 17psi, right. Also it happens at 6500 rpm even when the boost only hits 10 psi in first. WTF
