HELP Over Boosting
Ok I have a ek9 with a fully build gsr block Its got
Golden eagle sleeves
JE piston
portflow head
crower rods
and a REV HARD stage 2C turbo kit with my own t04 straight turbo
Im using the rev hard equal lenght manifold
and have a 42.5mm turbo innovation wastegate
with a Blitz SBC boost controller and the car just keeps on over boosting up to 28psi
I dynoed at 505whp @ 330 torque in 4th gear with 22psi of boost
But when we race it the boost hits up to 28psi
Im running the hondata 4b
Thanks

Re: HELP Over Boosting (streetracer)
if your block is build and you have the fuel system to support it why fight the boost?
but have you try turning your boost controller down? Thats what i do when i wanna run less boost.

Re: HELP Over Boosting (streetracer)
The problem is probably that your wastegate cannot get rid of enough exhaust, so the exhaust has no choice but to go through the turbine = boost creep. If you are running just a 35mm wastegate (deltagate, tial) at 22psi, that might be the problem.
