Default hondata 2 step vs msd 2 step?

anyone using hondata 2 step to build boost off the line? to my understanding the hondata cuts the fuel vs the msd which cut the ignition. i was wondering if it would be safe with the hondata?

if you got the s300 itll allow you to built boost off the the line but not the s200...the msd will allow you to built boost also

S200 uses fuel cut for the 2step, while the S300 cuts ignition just like an msd.
fuel cut won't allow you to build boost.

Neither will build boost really unless it's a smaller turbo. True boost off the line comes from an anti-lag type system where the ignition is extremely retarded and a lot of fuel is dumped. I know s300 has the anti-lag, but I think s200 doesn't

unless you use your Nitrous 1 or 2 option in romeditor to dump a butt load of fuel and pull timing when activated, just takes some time to fihure out, but no more complicated than AEM antilag
