Honda pistons Cast or forged? How much boost can they handle?
Just like the topic says, I'm wondering If Honda's pistons are cast or forged? I'm building an ls/vtec turbo with 350-400hp as my goal, I like the compression of 9.5:1 which it already has. I just bought new eagle h-bead rods, and was wondering if the stock pistons are worth keeping? Thanks

Re: (nonvtecD)
Okay if they are not worth keeping, then I would have to break in the motor correct? If I remember it's 500-1000 miles of 4000k or less, and changing the oil 2/3 times in that period?

The motor in my currently daily driver (95 GSR) was broke in on a Dynapack. 15 minutes of idle, change oil and filter, and hit the dyno. Runs great with perfect compression and very low leakdown, I don't believe in easy break-ins anymore.
