Default Home depot intercooler couplers?

Im short a couple of couplers. Will the plumbing rubber Hoime depot ones work or will they melt? Id place them after the intercooler which should be a bit cooler. Anybody do this?

I've used them off of the turbo and they did melt and tore alot. if its just temp. then it'll be ok. but get some good silicone ones evenually.

I ran them for 4months on my boosted LS. Never had one melt, tear, rip or blow off. Even had one coming right off of the turbo

Well yeah.. I could see that happening with an elbow, but there should be no reason why you'd need to use anything but straight couplers on honda/acura intercooler piping.

Turbocharging a Honda the right way isn't cheap. Home Depot couplers are not fun. I can post pictures of cars that developed rips and holes in them. My boy's turbo RSX and I went out. The car was building 17lbs, suppose to build 21lbs, but the CFM wasn't there. Looked at my datalog and it was reaching 17lbs by 7,000RPM Dont cheap out on couplers or t-bolt clamps.
