Which HKS Turbo ?
i was checking into the garret t30, but viren put me on to the hks dual ball bearing turbos...im running a fully built h22, and am looking for something around 15psi daily and 20-23 at the track, but im clueless when it comes to these hks turbos, there are so many different numbers and ****..2835 3040..etc etc....which one do you guys reccomend that would be somewhat like the t30 or a t3/t4e ball bearing, i want quick spool up, and the hks turbos are nice because they are also water cooled so i have no need for turbo timer...
thanks for the help....

Re: Which HKS Turbo ? (C-Redrum)
The Garrett GT30 is an awesome turbo. Here are the specs I would go with the Garrett 705867-0002. Here are the specs:
T04S
.70 A/R Compressor Housing
56 Trim Compressor
T3
.82 A/R Turbine Housing
84 Trim Turbine
This turbo can easily support 500-550 whp adn it will have quick spool up time. HKS doesn't make a T3 based turbo that even comes close to these specs. Most of the HKS turbos are T25/T28 based turbine housings.

.... and I believe the GT30 does come with a water cooled inner jacket?!?
that is also an option, at no additional charge

I use a tail 40mm wastegate with my GT30 and have water line running though the housing, I'll try to shoot some pic of it later.

why wouldnt you want this option, this means no use of a turbo timer ?

Re: Which HKS Turbo ? (TurbochargedSER)
The GT30 that I gave you a part number for is setup for an external wastegate. It does have a water cooled center section. Some people don't run water. I don't run water through my turbo and it is fine.
