damn, I'm with my 3rd one now, it lasted 1 day and got destroyed ...

my tube was tauching the turbo, but the most I was able to bend it was like 2mm off the turbo ... but still the rubber seal of the dip stick doesn't seal anymore

I'm with GReddy 15G on my D-series .. I guess I'll have to see where you guys are getting nice dip sticks from

oh, do not buy an OEM one, it keeps melting

 

im running a str one.. it sits up against my ramhorn.. Use to be bring red.. now its like a burnt out silver haha..

 

I use the golden eagle one.. perfect. No discolouration

 

where can u buy a GE dipstick for cheap?

 

can someone datalog some heat temps on the oem dipstick vs the GE dipstick? hehehe

mine gets hot because of the top mount i need something that'll stay cool

 

With my GE, it always does stillg et real hot, I also run a top mount. There is no way around not ahving it heat up unless you wrapped everything. I always keep a rag in the engine bay to grab it anyways and check my oil level.
