High Oil Pressure
I have a stock d16y8 running 10 psi makin 202whp and 186wtq. Heres the problem. the car idles around 900rpms and the oil pressure is around 25-35 psi warm. When i give it any gas, the oil pressure slowly climbs and by 3k rpms it is at 80psi and doesn't climb anymore. I'm really not sre what it is

try turning the brass screw on thew throttle bdy in a bit while the car is running to lower the idle.. If you have that screw. Is that pressure when it's cold? Mine does the same even when warm, must be normal..

Sounds like the engine coolant is warm, but the oil is still cool. If you didn't drive it for a while first, you probably didn't warm the oil enough. When its hotter than the engine coolant (>200F), it will generally be 10-20psi at 750rpm, and >50psi at 3k rpm. Thats what honda specs for most of their 1988-2001 engines. When cold, it will idle above 40psi, and hit 80-90psi after 3k.
