Default High Mileage + Stock Sleeves + Boost

Hi fellas, I have been searching for info on stock stock sleeves and boost but I couldn't find anything about a high mileage motor with stock sleeves and boost.

I was just wondering what kind of power I will be able to hold with forged internals, low compression, and a good tune on a motor that has stock sleeves with approx. 140,000 miles on it.

Thanks.

p.s. I am sorry if this has been covered elsewhere. I did search before I posted.

SLEEVES arent really affected by mileage except for bore wearing smooth. REHONE IT and go!

you might need to bore it because sometimes the sleeves get egg shaped after that many miles. just have a machine shop check them for roundness.

As a daily driver I would keep the boost low (7-10 psi) but when I go to the track I would like to take it up to atleast 17.

Do you think that would be problem?

why is 17 your exact number...why not 16.5 or 15 or 20......think.
