Default high boost sputtering

im having issues with my car sputtutring bad on high boost. my 2nd gear is set up to 14psi car runs fins. then when i throw it into 3rd my boost is set up at 24 psi thats when the car starts sputtering bad. same goes with my 4th. 1st and second are fine. the only thing i did to the car was change my FPR i had and got tuned using an AEM with a base fuel pressure of 45psi. i swapped my rail and also installed an aeromotive i had laying around...would the 1:1 lb of pressure per lb of boost affect/ throw off my high boost tuning. im running ngk 8s gapped at .15

Are you saying you were previously tuned up to 24psi and it drove fine, but now it wont after you swapped fuel rail and FPR? Are you monitoring AFRs? You need to verify the AFR before you melt your engine.

Several possibilities. Number one is stock ignition giving out. Spark blow out or leaning out. Varify your af ratios

No. (This is why I hate wideband gauges, as in many cases, it points people in the wrong direction, when there are other symptoms to look at0

Sounds like spark to me. Ignition system blowing out by not being able to create clean combustion at higher boost levels.

my ignition system consist of a MSD 6a box with a coil blasters ss coil and some ngk wires ngk 8 plugs gapped at .15. what would create a not clean combustion at high boost?

gapped at .15? My goodness that's not good. That may mean the MSD box might be failing or coil not doing its job. The older analog stuff is dying out.

Mallory Digital 6A (Or summit Racing) with an ignitor bypass (see Turbo-LS for that) and a nice gel-based coil like a MSD 8207, not those old Blaster SS Tear-gas canisters that we used to use. Those aren't made to last forever.

You must not be reading... There is an ignitor bypass, but with what you have, and other equipment you'll still have problems.

This is more of a blanket approach, not a cheap way out...

Or, change distributors that have a new ignitor in it and see what happens.
