Help! Weird Idle (videos)
Just got the turbo on and my idle is weird. Start the car and it idles around 2k then drops close to 1k and back up to 2k. After that it will idle up and down slightly 1500-2000 rpm. I can disconnect the iacv and it will idle around 1100 without going up and down, then plug the iacv back in and it revs up and down quickly. Ive searched up and down for a vacuum leak and have found nothing. Im using a j-k tuning chrome basemap for the 650cc injectors, could this be the problem?
Here are some videos of the problem
In this video you can hear the high idle, drop, and idle up again.

my car has been doing that now as well...it didnt do it before I turboed it, but it seems to stop when it gets mid warm. I was thinking it was my o2 sensor. Is yours good? But, I did get a basemap by j-k as well....hmmm...lemme know what you find out.
good luck

Do you have a wax valve on the bottom of the throttle body? If you do, pull it off, take the cover plate off it, and there's a plastic collar that screws in there around a "spring loaded nipple".. Screw it back in till it stops...

I've learned from a very reputable Honda technician that when Honda ECU's are disconnected then re-connected, you must do self learn idle procedure. Here it is:
Start car, disconnect IACV...set base idle via idle adjustment screw.
Turn ignition off, re-connect IACV, pull ECU fuse for five minutes.
Install fuse, start car. Let idle for one minute. Turn on headlights, idle for one minute. Turn on rear defroster, let idle for one minute. Turn on A/C (if applicable, if not, turn on high beams), let idle for one minute.
Your'e done! Hopefully this helps. If not, look into the basemap, check for vacuum leaks, check TPS voltage, etc.

Re: Help! Weird Idle (LudeSH)
are the injectors peak and hold or are they saturated? if peak and hold did you mess up the wiring with the injectors.. because when i did it my first time i messed up the wiring and had similar problems
