Did you check for boost leaks first?

i checked all my hose clamp connections and they are all good. it holds boost steady, would a small hole in one of my conectors cause the boost to hold that steady though? i even tried pulling my wastegate line off and it would only boost ten pounds.

for boost leaks pressurize the system with the car off. put a can of beans in the intake pipe (or whatever fits) and pull a vacuum line off and use an air compressor to pressurize everything, large leaks become VERY apparent. also have someone sit in the car and tell you what the boost gauge says. it really works and everytime we do this to someones car we almost always find something.

thanks so much for the help. i actaully found the problem by accident, i was going through a tighten the hose clamps and one of the hose clamps actaully cut through the silicone coupler. i moved the coupler more onto the pipe, bam, problem solved, back to ten pounds. thanks again for the help gentlemen.
