i have oil comeing out my dump tube....not a huge ammount but its enough to notice. I have a OBD1 LS-T in a EF hatch any suggestions to where the oil may be leaking out of to get in my exhaust? thanks in advance

possibly turbo seals have blown?

maybe....but i was thinkin about that and wouldnt it make sence that if the seals are blown then the oil would be shooting out my dump tube? or would it shoot it up and out my dump tube? i have no clue

Also check charge piping for oil, that could be another good indication of bad seals.

well the oil is coming out of your dumptube, your dumptube is connected to the wastegate, the wastegate is connected to your manifold (before your turbo), and your manifold is connected to your head, in short: the oil seems to be coming out of your head with the flow of exhaust then. exhaust valves may have bad seals, time for a leak down and compression test! remove your manifold to check to see if there is oil there too, if so its obviously coming from your head because its hard to believe that the flow of exhaust to the turbo can allow any oil to go up and out of your dumptube from the turbo seals. if the turbo seals are blown, i could believe the oil going into either the charge piping and downpipe, but the dumptube? The dumptube bleeds exhaust from the head before the turbo.

i agree ...get a compression and leakdown test done i am gonna put my money on the rings....could be a number of things though

Has the car shown any signs of burnig oil, or oil consumption???

the motor is completely built....it just turned over 2000 miles....didnt have an oil problem b4 turbo install though.....but i took out one of my sparkplug wires and it had some oil arround it....not on the spark plug but on the rubber thing that goes over it.....any more help would be greatly appreciated!

also the oil that is comeing out isnt the least pit burned looking.....its still brown like it was when i poured it in.....im useing Quaker State "high RPM" full synthetic 5w30

does the car smoke at all? Blue smoke is a sign of burning oil

sometimes....but its from under the hood.....oil gettin slung on my manifold and other hot items

well i believe that my seals in my turbo are blown....i put a stiffer WG spring and that solved that problem now the oil is comeing out arround my turbo houseing.........and info on how to re-seal a turbo...can i use high temp gasket sealer?

problem solved......my oil feed fitting that goes into my turbo houseing cracked and was slingin oil everywhere! thanks for all the info guys
