Help new motor ls turbo break in
Alright i have a freshly rebuilt ls motor with a t3/t4 turbo on it. What I want to know is if it is ok for me to break in my motor with the turbo installed on it. If so please let me know how. I have a walbro 255 lph fuel pump and blox missing link installed. I will be adding an s-afc II and 12:1 fmu later once it comes time to tune the car. Everything else in the motor is stock.
Also is it alright to tune the motor right away or should i break in it first?
Also is it ok for me to rev it up at high rpms once the motor only has like 5 miles on it. (Tuning revs it up high)
Also is it possible to tune your car by looking at the air fuel gauage alone.

Re: Help new motor ls turbo break in (wes7side5o)
my experience:
Freshly built motor, never even started..... Brought it to the dyno started it let it run for a little on a basemap to warm up the exhaust form exess(sp) being in there form the last motor once it blew clean smoke it was on the dyno, reving to 8500. Still runs great Also there are some sites about breaking your motor in by accelerating hard and letting it decelerate on it own, or something of that sorts.
O yea on the dyno my turbo setup was on the car, so how my car is now is how it was on the dyno.
