Default help me with my setup...please

I ve read and searched all about blockguard on this from... and have heard the good and bad... both sides have valid points but im wondering what to do in my situation...

had a stock gsr with fullrace turbo kit... went 12.25@116... now i am selling the gsr motor...was going to go all out with sleeves and the whole thing but i dont know if i'm ready to spend all that money and go hardcore... i am getting a FREE ls motor for the swap i am doing... being that the motor is free i decided i was going to try to use it... i am planning on building an ls/vtec motor next season with a bigger turbo... maybe a 60-1 with the .82 housing... the ls/vtec will consist of je pistons, full race rods, block guard from ge, block girdle, built head with stock gsr or itr cams... my goal is to have a streetable low 11 possibly high 10sec 1/4 mile car...
what's the experienced guys opinion on using blockguard in this situation... i am planning on boosting 20-25psi on the track... maybe 15psi on the street even though car is garaged and i barely drive it... oh yeah fuel is 720cc injectors with hondata... boost is alittle out of stock sleeve range... planning to rev to 8500-9000....

Opinions??

I am no expert. But I have seen both good and bad results. For example xxxracing runs a blockguard and is boosting like 26 pounds I think on an sc61. Others have cracked sleeves at far less boost. It is all in the tuning, as you have read I am sure. Bump for people with experiance. And damn you do swaps for $500?
