Default T1R and JRSC?

Has anyone tried the T1R Response header with a JRSC? Any gains or weaknesses? I want to upgrade from my 2.25 Comptech to a 2.5, but stay with a quality product. Thanks.

I had great results with my Kami/Carsound 2.5" setup. Any pictures of the T1R header? The charger likes short primaries.

My header/cat is FS BTW

These were the only pictures I could find, kind or hard to tell from an angle. What do you think?

i am unfamiliar with that header but its basically the complete opposite of a kamikaze header which has much shorter primaries. i dont know if thats good or not...

longer the primaries, the worse power you'll see. You want those primaries to dump straight into a collector about 10-15" away (about 2.5").

goodluck with ur setup

I love my Kamikaze 2.5 setup with 2.5 high flow cat and 2.5 piping thruout my exhaust..works great and proven power. But i just recommend that you torque the crap out of the Kami header where it meets up with the B-pipe, they are notorious for leaking there...

I guess I'll go with the Kami, but I am a little worried about the quality.

Yep, primaries seem way too long.

Dont worry about the Kami quality...theyve taken steps to solve some problems. Supposedly using better hardware for one, and copper gasket for another. I never had any problems with mine blowing out.

Id clean it up a bit, maybe have a machine shop do some quick work on the ports and go to town.

Go with the Kamikaze if you want good numbers and results. As stated above, do what you can during the install to prevent any leaks. I'd PM Nick (newgsrdriver) and take his off his hands, if I were you.

Does anyone know why you want short primaries? also, why 2.5" instead of 3" diameter? I thought all FI wants the least restriction possible for more flow? I'm not challenging or disagreeing with you, just trying to get my learn on

reason i said 2.5" collector is because, as limited as my n/a mod (header) knowledge is, there is no 3" collector made on any header.

if you want a 3 in collector you can just weld a 3 in flare to it. here's what i did;

i would have had 230whp but the manifold was getting hot
this is at 6 psi and hondata + bolt ons
