Default Help me make more power!

I have a b18b motor with a JRSC at 10psi. I also have a Hondata, 440 injectors, Icebox intake, Hytech header, high-flow cat, and cat-back exhaust (all exhaust is 2.5").

I don't want to do a swap or dump the SC for a turbo. (The JRSC is good for autocrossing.)

Is there anything else that could be recommended for this setup to make more power?

Yes, nitrous was something I had in mind. At 10psi, though, it's a little scary on a stock motor. Any other suggestions?

LOL-- the famous "I already did every upgrade I could to my JRSC car and it's still not fast enough" complaint.

You knew the answers before you asked this question

You dug your own grave with that jrsc! Turbo power!!

The only useful thing I can say is look into methanol/water injection, and combing that with more timing. That would be like 'intercooling' on a turbo, and it'll give you the opportunity for a nice kick in the pants.

Man, you're preaching to the preacher.... If you find anything that gets you over 200HP, lemme know.... see this page http://www.ranneypeimer.com/acura and know that I own every possible JRSC go fast part....

Have you dyon'ed your car?

How is it that I knew that even though I specified that I wanted to keep the JRSC and specified autocrossing (low end torque needed), that someone here would STILL recommend I go turbo?

Anyway, thanks for the replies. It hasn't been dyno'd after most of these mods, so I don't have any figures to post. I figured if there were any good suggestions, I'd do them first, then dyno/tune. Water injection is being considered.

Anyone else with ideas for my setup?

Increase displacement and get a B16 head. Since you have the hondata you can find a good base map and tune it. That should net you at least 30 hp.

Definitely dyno the car.

Again, I'm on the same page as you.... once it's dynoed, we can compare figures.

I haven't opened my motor - trying for over 200HP (at 192 now) without internals/new head.

Water injection didn't make any power, but when it's warmer, you won't loose any.

GET A TURBO.

Shut about about low end torque. If you're not spooling a small turbo, then you're driving like a sissy.

Get a turbo and love life.
