help me with launching for streets
k, i used to have a better launch but now i dont if its the boost or the lack of threads on my tires that makes me spin out like crazy... i got a 00civic ex with greddy turbo on stock boost right now... i got 16inch enkei rims with 40 series yokos on em.. the tires are almost gone... its really really bad on wet road... im wondering may be thats the thing thats killing me.... please give me some input on good launching techniques... thanks.. should i got 15 inch rims?

boost controller? if so you can turn it to a lower setting for launching
When you launch, dont rev it up and drop it, bring the clutch in softly and feather the gas intil you feel a light spin and maintain it, linearly increasing the throttle til you reach WOT, then dont bang in second, slip that a little as well.

yes, an electric boost controller. but to be perfectly honest, it wont make a heap of difference; you need to learn the launch and not depend on an electronic thingamajig to do it for you. YOU can do it better.
but the blitz dsbc is badass; you can turn a lil **** while in motion and step up through 4 programmable boost settings. nice stuff.
