HELP me come up w/ a price quote for customer... (Engine build)
Lining up work for the winter. First customer is going to be a GS-R powered del Sol pulling into my garage.
Work to be done:
Remove turbo kit (DRAG 3)
Remove entire drivetrain from car
Disassemble drivetrain
Build bottom end w/ new pistons, rods, bearings
Reassemble drivetrain
Reinstall drivetrain
Reinstall DRAG 3 turbo kit
I have an idea of what I think I should charge... but what do you guys think would be reasonable for this job (labor)? It's a good deal of work to be done, and I just want to feel justified in my labor charges after seeing what you guys would expect to pay or charge for a similar amount of work.
Thank you!

Thats what I was thinking... I know a local shop to us would charge about $2-2500 in labor alone for all of this...
I'm thinking $1200.
I'm thinking $1200.

Just labor we charge $1400 for the same thing only H22 prelude. This does not include machine work or any parts. MAke sure to tell him he will need machine work and a couple hundred in gaskets. And reccomend timing belt, water pump, oil pump, and so on
