Default Engine HELP

If I was wanting to build my engine up for a turbo setup and i had a few thousand to spend where should i get my engine work done at? like what shop or company?
I dont mind driving the car to another location or shipping the motor away but it would be nice having a more local shop to do the work at, i live in the seattle area. Thanks for your help.

If i were you i would do the work yourself its cheaper and you learn about your car. If you plan on having a serious build i would look into a respecable shop around town to do the pistions and rods/port polish and valve job other then that you could prolly do most the work youself.
