Default HELP WITH MAKING A D16Z6 TURBO'D MOTOR BETTER

I am in the process of trading my truck for a boosted 1993 Civic Ex! I do know about non-boosted Civic. Boosted motor on the other hand I have no idea about.
I just don't want to get something that I am going to regret because of my lack of knowing. The motor is a d16z6 boosted with a greddy 18g turbo, 450cc injectors, Golden Eagle Rods, Golden Eagle block gaurd, 9:1 low compression pistion and rings, stock fuel rail, stock regulator, and stock fuel pump. The car is currently running without a thermostat! The head is completly stock new water pump and timming belt. It also has a Ls throttle body. The ECU has been chipped by a shop with 8000 rpm rev limit, and a 4500 vtec limit. It has stock axles also. I believe it hasn't been on a dyno. Just need some no BULLSHIT sugguestions and some sites that will help me with getting to know more about turbo and setup of them. Also some helpful sugguestions on making the car more relieble. Thanks for the h

it sounds like the civic your are about to buy is pretty well built. first thing id do is replace the stock fuel pump with walbro 255 hp. they can be bought for under 100 and is good insurance.

secondly id replace that "chipped" ecu with a hondata s200 or 300 and get it dyno tuned. you already have 450cc injectors so youll be good to about the 300 hp range which will be a really fun dd in a civic. also install a thermostat

other than that youll be good to go that stcok axles, fuel rail and regulator are fine for now just dont dump the clutch at 7k with slicks!!

there is tons of info on this website but also homemadeturbo.com has alot of info about boosted d's

good luck
