hey guys.
Heres bascially my setup:
LS VTEC 2.0L
Arias pistons
Crower rods
SC-61
Precision 1000cc injectors
Hondata >> trying to go to neptune but my car broke....lol
- it makes around 400hp (last time on dyno)

My motor started making a horrible knocking noise from the #4 cylinder. So we stopped tuning. I got the car home and pulled out that piston and the whole intake side of the skirt is all ground down....like that cylinder got EXTREMLY hot. The only thing that i can think of is that #4 injector possibly failed. Im sending them out this week to have them checked to make sure.

My question is.....i dont have a lot of money right now to put this thing back together the right way...ie. having a machine shop bore it. The scoring in the cylinder walls dont look that bad...is it a bad idea to try and hone it myself.....then throw one new piston back in it? Also can i re-use a GEM 84mm headgasket?
