HELP i cant decide
OK i changed my mind....im buying a new commuter car for work. 99 civic hatch D16Y7. but i know i cant leave it stock, i need to make the drive more fun. so should i go JRSC or Turbonetics kit w/intercooler? http://store.summitracing.com/...6&y=8
its basically make less power with the JRSC and stay CARB legal or Make more power and be fuked for smog....

the turbonetics kit is a t3/t04b ball bearing v trim with a stage 2 turbine wheel.... great turbo for just street driving at lower power levels (225-250) but the turbo isnt good for high power

so its a decent kit for the street, what kind of power should i expect giving the car has 100hp?.... im new to the whole FI thing but i know howeverything works.

it wont...im just saying which would you rather have a built SOHC with the turbonetics or a stock b16 with a full-race kit

you're kinda comparing two kits that are too different. i would go with a built d16 turbo. might be cheaper and faster than a stock b16 turbo.

id go with the turbonetics kit..
i only put down a measley 210whp on my 2500 lb integra (way heavier than your hatch),and it was the most fun ive ever had driving, enough torque, and top end power to satisfy me,daily driving..and ive had it for 4 months now..im getting ready to upgrade...only because i have a desire to run 11's..so go with the turbo kit..and im pretty sure even 180 to 200whp will be fun enough.
