you are nuts for boosting the honda glasshouse motor without managment first of all .. and yes if you have just an fmu its your timing and id run colder plugs to get the spark further away from your block ... that way it takes more heat to thereticly detonate but who knows.. im running Zdyne Gold with 450cc's (same as hondata4B and 440's basicly) and im going to put it on a dyno at 14 so its all in tuning with these honda's so save up for managment (my .02) and as for 9psi turn it down even with a timing change and plugs it will most likely break nothing untuned seems to last ..

Ya try runing colder plugs and retarding your timing alitte bit, also try turning up your FPR.

Get an MSD BTM and use it to pull back a little bit of timing, untill you stop getting detonation, or put better gas in it.

Dude run as high octane as you can get @ the pump and pull a few degrees of timming and turn down the boost. Your gonna break someting unless you get it tuned...

good luck

WTF? do you have any fuel managment at all? The stock a/f gauge is not accurate, but it still works. There is NO WAY it sould be in the red/yellow section when in boost. The idea of a WB is that it will show the difference between 12.0 and 13.0, not 17.0 ot 13.0...

Make sure you fuel adder is working, it sounds like it's not...
