Default HELP Clocking a Turbo

sup guys..im trying to clock my turbo...i followed all instructions on loosening the 6 bolts on both sides, but now it just wont turn...doesnt budge at all and all bolts are definitely loosened enough.....the turbo is on right now and id rather leave it on, but i may have no choice to remove it and try clocking it then....

but any suggestions on making this damn thing turn....anyone run into a similar problem?

Rubber mallet, gotta break it loose sometimes.

Yeah, but don`t hit a impellers, only housing..

i was trying a hammer with a wooden block in between but i dont think it even budged? do they cease up that much sometimes?

i was trying to hit the oil feed part since thats the only part thats sticking out....

STOP STOP STOP STOP!!!! The bolt your pointing to attaches the backplate to the cartridge. Tighten that back up RIGHT NOW!!!

Only loosen the bolts that attach the compressor cover (the ones that are up against the brackets that hold the compressor cover to the backplate.

At most, you may need to loosen the bolts connected to the turbine housing (also has two brackets). Those are the ones that are difficult to move. but only if necessary.

STOP!!! Put that backplate bolt back in.

ok ya i was advised that i dont need to loosen the ones i was pointing to....but it wasnt moving with all the other loosened ..thas y i sent that pic to sum1 asking if i need to remove those that im pointing to...but i guess thats a negative...

which other bolts are you talking about? i loosened the 6 + 6
