Default Help, Choosing NEW radiator

Currently, I have a stock B16A running about 8-10psi daily in a 91 Integra. The weather in the summer gets near the 100's.
My question, I'm using the stock Integra radiator- but the top end tank fitting is beginning erode. Instead of replacing it with a stock unit, I was looking at using the half sized(as compared to Integra radiator) Civic rad by CR or Fluidyne to free up some space in my already cramped engine bay- still have AC, btw. I've never had any overheating problems with my current setup, but I'm wondering if the Fluidyne/CR at half size will meet my cooling demands. Is anyone using this in their boosted Tegs? TIA

You could always use a Delsol or Si radiator...dual core. Should be plenty but yes any of the fancy aluminum ones are going to laugh at the heat, no problems there.

The PWR Half Style Civic radiator is prolly the best bang for your buck, and will cool your car nicely even in that heat.. Contact ninesecrx or Earl for pricing..

Edit: spelling

I'm in the same situation right now. So is everyone saying that a Civic size radiator would work fine in a boosted integra?

CSF makes a larger core then a stock DelSol radiator....and it's CHEEPER....

Very nice quality, and very easy to order!...

But will a PWR civic radiator keep my turbo LS integra cool? I don't want to buy a smaller radiator, only to find out that its going to overheat.

I put in a CR radiator when i did my friend's b16a swap. Very nice radiator and already comes with a slim line fan. That thing never gets hot. The PWR ones look very promising as well.

the dual core did wonders for my friend gsr turbo after it overheated on the stock half size civic radiator. his temps would shoot up on the highway. after dual core, temps never went above half

The PWR half size civic core will have no problems with an integra motor. You can run it all day long in the summer with a turbo and you will never have a problem. They also come with B series in/outlets so it makes real nice for using the integra hoses. If you want more info on these you can contact me. Price on the civics are 290 shipped.

C&R is the best bang for the buck. It comes with a super slim profile fan already mounted to it on tabs. They are about 410.00 shipped. PM me if you need any info.

If you think about it, the PWR radiator is $290 shipped and a universal slimline radiator is $60 from an auto parts place, thats 350 total(<math genious).. doesnt get any cheaper and better then that folks!

yeah, but the universal slim line is not as thin as the Spal and will not flow as much air for sure. I was judging price by adding a comparable FAL fan for 150.00.

Thats correct that the basic universal slimline fan wont flow as well as the FAL fan, and it is noticibly thinner also, but in regards to your comment about best bang for the buck, dollar for dollar, id have to say the PWR/universal fan is the most affordable and practical for most of the people with basic everyday setups...

I just got my C&R yesterday from one of Sponsors alittle cheaper than that and true the SPAL fan flows much more than the Slimline fan I bought from a local auto parts carrier. C&R PWR
