Help, car will not run!!
EDIT
Hey guys, I just talked to the people that were supposed to load my basemap for me. Somehow they set it for an oem map instead of my 3bar.
Do you guys know if this alone would prevent the car from staying running? I have to look and see if I can find one of the OEM ones I have laying around. I guess I can use it for now until I go to tune it, which is when I will have the tuner set the hondata to 3bar.
Well I just finished up by built motor and now I can't get it to run. It will turn over and run for a second, them immediatley shuts off. However, if I spray starting fluid into the TB it will run like a champ. That makes me think that I am not getting any fuel. I can hear the pump prime and the FP gauge shows pressure in the rail. I have adjusted the FP regulator with no results. That made me think it could possibly be the injectors (precision 880cc) so I pulled the plugs and cranked it. I can smell fuel coming from the cylinder however I do know if it is enough. EMS is hondata s200 which was supposed to be loaded with a basemap to idle the 880cc, could this be the problem? I am kinda stumped here guys, help me out!!!!

Are the plugs wet at all when you pull them out? Or just pull the plug wires off and turn it over, then check the plugs, if there is fuel, you will know it.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Like I said, when I pulled the plugs and cranked it I could definatley smell fuel. What do you think could be the issue with the ECU?

I checked all major fuses which look good. I also have a feeling it has something to do with the basemap. The ECU itself should be good unless they screwed it up b/c I was using it before I sent it to get socketed. I requested a basemap that would idle 880cc injectors just enough to drive it on and off the trailer until it gets tuned. What route should I take to resolved this. I don't think hooking another stock ecu will help me due to the injector size and I know little to nothing about tuning hondata. The hondata unit itself s/b alright too since it was brand new.
On a side note, I have not installed my alternator belt yet. The battery is fairly old but is constantly being charged. This wouldn't cause that right?
Thanks guys!

I provided them with a complete setup list including injector size. Basically I told them to load me a base map that will allow me to drive the car on and off the trailer and I'd let the tuner do the rest. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the stock map voltage values differ from the 3bar? I hope this is the problem, because if not, then I am stumped.
Im almost positive it does. You can use a 3 bar MAP with an AFC by altering the IN/OUT values on the AFC, so it seems that the voltage would be different from a 3 bar MAP to an OEM MAP.
How competant is the shop? I might just get online, find a basemap for your setup, save it as a .bin and burn it to a disc, then tow your car to the tuner and have him go from there.
