Fuel management for my D16Y7 turbo?
Hey there im new here but ive been reading this page for a long timem lots of people know there stuff here.
Im starting my turbo kit from scratch, so far, wich im not i have made my own manifold, 16g turbo with wastegate, 2.5 downpipe, audi 5000 intercooler, bosch bov, etc, What are my fuel limits stock, i would run 7psi, do i need a upgraded fuel pump, SDS EIC(2 additional 190cc) fpr?? I jsut want to get this running for now, so can i do my kit with all of my stock fuel system, and retard my timming 2 degrees? Any info on this would more than appreciated because i have jumper 2 feet right into this so no turning back. PS not looking to make 200whp, ,maybe 175whp or so. Thank you very much for your help.

Well, if your looking for dirt cheap you can just get a FPR and run that @ 7psi. your injectors will handle it. I do not reccomend it.
I do recommend the AFC hack & larger injectors (DSM 450's) but this is gonna cost alot more to do.
Let me ask you this, are you gonna stop @ 7psi or are you gonna want more?

Re: Fuel management for my D16Y7 turbo? (T-sohctec)
I will go for more for sure but not now, i will use the 450cc injectors with resistor pack and if neded a SDS EIC. with a holley fuel pump, getting the installation ready for the next couple of weeks, with the fuel issue out of the way, ignition set a -2 degrees will that be ok? Will the ignition be my barrier besides the weak rods/piston? Could someone give me a bit more precise details on the does and don't of Honda fuel/igniton limitiations?

if your just learning about boost, running the SAFC and an MSD BTM would and some DSM450cc injectors and resistor box would be your best bet.
why, because you don't need a laptop or chip programer, or know how to soder to run it.
the hack is the easyest way to control your fuel. and most shops can tune the safc. and sensor your obd2 you would save yourself from having to convert to ond1.
