Help! Can't boost above 9PSI!!!
My setup is B18C1, sleeved, forged internals, and I'm using a Revhard stage 2c kit with Tial wastegate and Blitz SBC ID boost controller. My problem is my car will not boost above 9psi even when I set the boost controller at 12 or 14 psi. anyone have any ideas?

Stock sensor should go to 11psi or so.
What spring do you have for the Tial? How do you have the wastegate
hooked up? I had this problem with my SBC-iD, and I ended up having
to turn it on manual mode, and slowly crank up the values until I got
the desired boost.

Well the boost controller will work fine for lower settings like say if I set it for 6psi, it'll boost 6psi. also, I set the gain to 80 and boost to 16 and still only boosts 9psi. Would my air filter have anything to do with restricting the airflow maybe? should I try to tighten my blowoff valve more? (Greddy Type-S, it's half way tightened down now)
Well first off the map sensor has nothing to do with how much boost your making. Even if your making 20psi of boost your stock map sensor will only function up to about 11psi (but your boost gauge will still read 20psi).
If your possitive the boost controller functions properly then you need to start looking elsewhere. If you have a dirty clogged air filter it can keep your turbo from spooling/making more boost. If your exhaust is to restrictive it will prevent you from making more boost, basically anything that prevents your turbo from doing what it likes to do best (and thats spin freely) will cause problems.
What spring is in your wg? if your say runing a .35 bar spring you may not be able to run more then 9psi or so with yout boost controller. You can only exceed the sring rating by so much... check into those things.

check for boot leaks...

What psi spring do you have in your wastegate? Unless you have a towel or something similiar as a filter it shouldn't be too restrictive, but try removing your air filter and see if it does anything. Check to see if your bov is staying open.
if you're running Missing link, it won't matter, map sensor will never see boost....you can go 20 psi if you want, map sensor won't matter since missing link bleeds the boost before map sensor reads it...
my point was map sensor has not effect on how much boost is being made.
