Help B16 turbo build
Hi HT I just picked up my first honda swap 2000 si b16a. Pretty excited. So I'm going turbo and i really dont know to much about turbo. I was thinking of building my own. Instead of buying a kit. The things I know i need are, The Turbo, Charge piping, Wastegate, Cam gear, Turbo timer, Injectors, Boost guage, Fuel pump, Manifold, Clutch, Oil feed/return lines, Rod Bearing, Head studs, Ecu, Oil pressure gauge, Boost contoller, Map sensor. So this what i have on my list. I'm looking to get 300whp out of it. I also want to use it for a daily driver. Any knowledge, expirience, even if your one of those members who only talk ****, say what you want, aslong as i learn something. Oh and im swapping it into a ek sedan if that matters. Thank you in advance.

Re: Help B16 turbo build
you dont need cam gears you might wanna look in to cams and valve springs though
you dont need the rod bearings either if your keeping stock internals unless you have a knock or like a million miles on you motor but to each is own
my friend pulled 296whp and just under 200fptq and he just put ls pistons in his cause his ignition twacked out on him and burned a hole in one of his stock ones and he reused is rod bearings
a catch can system, a blow off valve, an intercooler, maybe a vacuum block to plumb in your bov and wastegate, an air fuel ratio gauge, maybe a thermal intake manifold gasket, oh and the most important thing a good tuner well good luck with your build im still tryin to finish mine
