i have a chipped ecu. i unplugged it to take pictures of how it ias chipped to post up on h-t. I DID TAKE THE CHIP OUT OF THE ECU? then i put the chip back in.

Now i go to start my car and it idels at 1500 rpm and when i hit the gas it boggs out, not driveabel.

what the hell did i do?

 

Make sure the chip is facing the right direction, and not one pin off.

 

well i tried both directions, but ill try again.

also it is not a pin off.

any other suggestions?

 

now it doesnt really idle even, it revs its self up between 1-1.2K?????

and t cuts out at 3k, its like the fuel cut is at 3k now

i suck in another ecu and it works fine.

what the hell happend to my ecu, lol.

The 3K rev limit sounds like limp home mode.
