Default Which heatrange do you run?

Just as a general information:

Which heatrange do you run on how many boost / engine / whp level?
And maybe what type of plug do you run in your setup?

Best regards

heat range of 7 is usually thought to be perfect for FI.

Possibly 8, but always depends on your HP/set-up.

Default Re: Which heatrange do you run? (dturbocivic)

for most stuff under 300hp i run a 7, if its 300-400 on pump gas or up to 500 on race gas i run 8, over 400 on pump or 500 on race gas i run a 9.. (those are NGK numbers btw)

but you have to make sure to read the plugs, some engines like a different heat range than others. on JRSC setups i run an 8.

its better to start too cold than too hot, if its too cold it will just foul out, if its too hot you risk melting things due to pre-ignition.
