Not true, I always run race gas when I go to the track so I can run a few extra lbs of boost somewhat safley. 110oct. won't hurt anything

Leaded gas does have a tendancy to burn up cats and o2 as previously stated...
Cats are usually discared when poeple start making power, o2's shouldn't be however...
Without a wideband, how do you know where your car is running??
Also a myth exists if you do not tune for race gas, then you won't make any power.
I have personaly seen anywhere from 5-20whp from gas. 110-128 octanes.
Tuned/untuned.
You just won't be seeing max potential.
Btw, I have run race gas on many many occaisoons for 2 yrs now...o2 still running strong..
Dyno's get anywhere from 50-200 pulls w/leaded gas...do you expect to make 100 runs down the track in a yr?
Doubt it.
