Is it possple to run 8psi and run 12 1/4 mile time ....if so what type of setup do you need to achive this?

Thats a kinda broad range there.. A gsx-r 750 with 8psi would run 12's..

If your talking about cars then getting a light crx and gutting it would help.. Are you asking to run a 12 flat or in the 12's..

And why the hell are you asking this question.. Are you trying to get the most power and only running 8psi or are you trying to run 12's..

Or are you asking the question b/c you are going to race someone who says they are running 8psi and running 12's, and you want to make sure you can beat him.

Ahhhhh..... Didnt think of that one..

 

yeah it is possible to run 12s on 8psi. i see it all day long. on a turbo or supercharged v8.

 

Jordo ran 12.8 @ 120 on street tires @ 7 psi w/ a full-race kit on a type-r. So, yes its very possible.

Judging from the cars I've raced, my car should run in the 12's @ about 112 and I'm running 7 psi with a drag kit and a different turbo.

 

I guess its all on how you tune it!
