I'm going to be going .20-over with my B18C1, will I run into any problems using a stock headgasket with regards to the bore size? If I recall correctly the OEM gaskets had a little extra spacing on the inner edges, but I want to e 100% sure before I buy a gasket.

 

Stock Gaskets are cut out to 82mm's...You should have zero problems using it...Unshroud your valves a little while your'e at it if you feel up to it...

 

GE Headgaskets are OEM overbored.

if anything dave just pick up a cometic gasket.

yea that was my next step, I just wanted to keep it OEM if possible

 

i am using a OEM gasket on my 0.040 over D16Z6. a full 1mm bigger and works fine
