I've only used the fields sfc vtec controller and it was really easy to use. Pretty basic. I had a apex vafc , but sold it. I cant imagine the vafc being that hard to use because it's so popular.
I know the vafc can trim fuel 50% while the sfc can trim 30%.
The vafc has i believe 8 adjustable fuel points on the first version and 16 points of adjustment on the second version.
The sfc has 8 points of adjustment.
Both allow vtec to be moved.

Oh and btw I have a field unit for sale if your interested.
The field sfc is cheaper then the apex vafc.
I know the sfc displays rpm and has a light that goes on when vtec switches over. It also has speed readout on the screen

just so you know fields fuel controlelr will not work for the afc hack, not enough adjustment.

yes it will
but u can only boost like 8 psi max
the engine will run pretty rich since u only taking out 30% off the MAP reading

You just cant use 450cc injectors
it's possible but not as easy as it is with a vafc.
390's and raise the fp a little
