Aright so like i said everything is running tight since i replaced the head gasket (OEM copperspray ARP studs ). I still can't figure out the idle, all vac. lines are hooked and at idle vac. reads 22, just like it used to, but the car idles at 1000-1200. What could this be? Another thing is after my valve adjustment my vlaves are a little louder than they used to be. I adjusted each set at TDC .010 on intake .012 on exhaust and made sure i felt a slight grab on the feeler guage then tightened the locknut and rechecked clearance, everything was to spec but these valves jsut seem too loud, its not a grinding just a smooth clicking. Any ideas?
