Default SMOKE!!!!! From under the hood.

Ok guys I was leaving the store a while ago and when I pulled out and got on the main street I had to punch the gas because some idiot decided he wanted to change lanes at the last second. When I shifted from 1st to 2nd a cloud of smoke shot into my car through the vents, I took my foot off the gas and then gave about 1/4 throttle---no smoke? Drove fine the rest of the way home untill I was about a block from my house, I could'nt resist and I tried it again with the same results . Got home, left the car on, popped the hood and nothin . Opened the throttle a couple of times with my hand and BINGO, there it was, flying out the goddamn breather filter on my valve cover. WTF does this mean? Sorry for the long post guys I'm just pissed. Somebody please tell me this means nothing.

Smoke or steam? Sounds like a B-Lown headgasket to me. Check for oil/coolant mixture in your oil cap/dipstick/under the valve cover/radiator cap.

was your engine warmed up? if not, thats might be your problem. the rings havent expanded enough, so your not geting a good seal.

probably not though, cause it was still like that when you got home.

The first time yeah, this time Its not that bad. WTF happened there Mase? The first time I would just turn the car on and it looked like that, a big *** cloud would come out the muffler too. This time only when I open her up pretty good it will let out the James Bond smoke screen.

Thanx 4 all the replies guys but does anybody know how long it'll hold up? I pretty much just drive it to work and back. It only takes me 10-20min to get to work depending on traffic. If I drive it normal without putting into boost will it last a couple of weeks untill I can source another block( or pull mine and build the internals ) and swap em out?
