Default Header wrap on cast manifold?... good idea?

I was wanting to wrap my cast Apexi manifold with some header wrap. Will the wrap crack the cast manifold like it does to my old mild steel headers? I think they cracked becasue the wrap would get splashed on and it would hold water. My turbo manifold never gets wet.

Has anybody done this? Thanks.

they sell a sealer for the wrap if you're worried about it holding water. i have heard that it creates hot spots tho...i wouldnt worry to much about it.

Hey when you say "don't worry about it" do you mean forget about it all together or that it shouldn't cause a problem?

thanks
