the car feels a lot better than what it did. i think my car probably feels the best its ever felt since the install. one thing though, when i'm driving normal, sometimes it feels like it hesitates about 2-3k rpms, any idea why? i was thinking it will feel a little shitty on low end because i set back the timing.</TD></TR></TABLE>

full throttle (stock motor) your fuel pressure should go up about 10psi..So if you have it set at 40psi it should go up to 50psi under wot....without boost.

whats your timing set at?

with boost it went up to about 80 psi.

my timing is set back to 11 degrees. i've heard of people setting theirs back to only 13 on an ls and have had no problems, i wen't to 11 though. the instructions from jr said i should go back to 8.

what should i set it at?

okay, here's the deal.

i got the fpr regulator along with the fuel guage and the walbro 255 fuel pump.
i was having a lot of problems even with the fuel pressure turned to 40 psi.
the first night i adjusted the fuel pressure to 40 psi, the car ran real good. the next day i went out for a drive, and my car started hesitating again. i lowered the fuel pressure and it still kept happening. i messed with the fmu and it was fine for a little while, then it started bogging again. it felt like i was redlining at 4k rpm.

i adjusted the fpr regulator again and again and messed with the fmu to try out different settings and i would get the same results.

i got fed up and just went ahead and put my stock fuel pump back on with the stock fpr. my car ran real good. didn't hesitate, didn't bog, nothing. i raced a trans am from a roll and then went for a cruise. after a while of cruising, my car starting hesistating again. this is with the stock fuel pump and the stock fpr. its was doing the same as if i had the other fuel pump and fpr on. i pulled over and messed with the fmu and that didn't work. i pulled over again and turned off the car for a couple of minutes. i turned the car back on and went for a drive. the car started running fine again. i went to the car wash and took out the ecu fuse for a while, put it back in and drove away and the car felt fine. i drove around for a while and on the way home, it started to hesitate for a little again. does anybody know what the hell is going on here?
this only happens when i'm driving normal. i could punch it and the car will run fine, but when i driving normal and not getting boost, then thats when it will hesitate.

any suggestions?

*Fuel Injectors
or
*O2 signal (could have a break, or bad sensor)

I would check the O2 first.

if my o2 sensor was out, my check engine light would be on. my air/fuel guage works right also.

could having an aem fuel rail be the cause of me getting too much fuel? i've lowered the fuel pressure down to 39 psi and i'm still having problems. would it help if i put my stock fuel rail back on?
