Default Have a turbo questions. some advice please

i have a t3/t4 turbonetics .48 hot 60 cold turbo. im building a fully built gsr and wanted to know if this turbo would be good for street and very ocassional track. looking to be in the mid to high 400's but maybe push in the higher horse range later on. if this is not the best turbo for this application can u break down to me why it is or isnt, and what turbo i should be looking for?

also is 2.25 inch piping sufficient for the amount of horsepower or should i really be looking for something bigger?

keep in mind i might want to up the boost later on. motor is very capable of 30lbs.

Thanks for the help

Check and post the measurements of the wheels. That will help determine a bit more what is possible for the turbo, but something tells me that lower 400whp is about your maximum. Simply turning up boost to 30psi is going to make too much backpressure and skyrocket your intake air temps even with a "built" motor. The reason you're not getting responses is because you come off a bit unrealistic. You're not a DSM, so don't treat your turbo car as though it is one.

Here's how to measure.. good luck.

Here you go. In millimeters would be best, please..

Once you've used some tools and some math, we'd be more than willing to help. Simply looking in the inlet means little without measurements.
