Default Hasport (street) vs Prothane Inserts vs whoever else.

I've read through a lot and haven't really found what I'm looking for. I figured alot of you FI guys probably break these more than anyone. Anyway, I'm curious as to the vibration level of Hasports vs Prothanes inserts vs whoever else makes replacement motor mounts. My application is a DC2 with B18c

currently I have the ES inserts in the 2 lower, but hasport and prothane are for the top 2 and rear anyway.

Which vibrates more? Who makes more mounts like these (the top 2)? I know people have a different threshold for what is crazy vibration. So if you could just rank them in order. I've read the hasports mounts are similar to rubber vs urethane?

I usually turn up the volume on my stereo when the old lady turns up the volume on her mouth. Works wonders...

I got an EG B18C with Energy Supension kit for the front two and rear mounts and I can live with it. I would rather not have it but oh well. I'm not taking them out thats for sure. The only time you notice the vibrations is at idle stopped. AND were talkin the low idle lie 650 range. I have noticed that when it gets annnoying (when my ear starts bleeding from the mouth running next to me) if I rev the engine to 1K it goes away. Other wise I'm all good with it. I think the Hasport are nice and shinny but its money taken away from other stuff that will make you go fast or stop fast. If you wanted to be really cheep about and have time you can take the mounts out and seal them up with store bought polyurthene.

Here's a great link on how to DIY.

i have hasport race mounts and find they vibrate less annoyingly than my prothane inserts i had previously.

i really like my hasports. you get to lose wieght and make your car easier to work on.

I just went with Jimfab mounts. Really, vibration isn't an issue. It vibrates a little bit more, but not anything I really notice except for on cold starts when my CD player skips. The real issue is NOISE. My car is noisy as ****. It drives me nuts. I can barely stand it sometimes. It's like the highway drone of a ricer exhaust, but you always hear it.

i have all stock mounts w/ the prothane inserts along w/ the energy s. inserts for the lower mounts....with the race drivers side mount in...it vibrates a lot...w/ the street it isnt that bad...but i had to remove my stryafoam bumper insert and the 2 plastic ends because it vibrated so much...

it def helps w/ wheel hop...but traction bars would still be nice to have...

i like'm but if your about ride comfort...id would'nt suggest them

So far I'm hearing prothane engine inserts vibrate more than hasports.

For those that have engine mounts/inserts already (top 2)... how much more vibration is added with the jimfabs?

Nothing is more intense than the jimfabs. They are for hardcore racing. The resonance will kill your eardrums. Inserts are quieter, but supposedly they vibrate more because they aren't a solid piece.

If I were you, I would just fill in your stock mounts. My roommate just did that with his srt-4 and it doesn't vibrate or make noise at all, but it works alot better than stock mounts.

I just filled my rear mount and the 2 upper ones a couple thousand miles ago. It made a huge difference in traction and even changes cornering and steering response slightly. I used 3M fast set windshield urethane

Your on crack. My poly mounts did little to improve anything substantial. Shifting and throttle response were a little crisper, big deal.

It depends on the condition of your stock mounts. I installed inserts into only the two side mounts and it eliminated alot of the wheelhop that I had.

I installed the 3 mounts from the ES kit on my 00 GSR. My wheel hop is as bad as it was without them. Are you telling me you can dump your clutch at 4 grand and get no wheel hop what so ever?

Yeah basically! Before the two mounts, trying to launch was rediculous. Now I spin the tires.

Anyone know where Enjo mounts fit in, in terms of stiffness/vibration level?
