Has anyone used the 4inch e turbo?
I am thinking about getting this to pre spool my turbo and give me that added boost I need.

that looks like a marine application blower fan.
at high rpm it is going to be nothing more than a restriction in the intake... it does not flow enough imo.
lol.

Are people still falling for these scams?
260 CFM isn't even enough flow at 2000 RPM. Even if it was, these fans cannot produce any sort of boost. I could show you the mathematics involved, or you can just believe me that it takes nearly 2500 watts (4.5 hp) to produce 5 PSI of boost in an engine.

Nitrous would be your answer. If you could really get 30 hp from a dinky little fan, who would ever need a turbo. I'd just get bigger fans all day long. Maybe I would even string them together and create a twin/triple fan forced induction system!
Come on man, if you had the senses to go turbo, you should see right through this. that thing is a restriction to your system. try it yourself, it's been covered here on ht before tho i think.

A Thomas Knight electric charger works because it produces well over 3 kW. But it is still stupid, because the system weighs a ton, it isn't even closely comperable in boost output to a real turbo or supercharger, and you can only use it in short bursts.
Like nitrous. But heavy and 3x as expensive.
