Default Turbo + Twisties?

I've heard that it's pretty hard to boost while going through turns (the car will want to keep on going straight). Do you guys boost through turns? Turn the boost down while going through the twisties? Or just keep off the boost? Thanks

Im sure you will boost a little bit, but i doubt you would be able to just floor it
like an NA car could/might be able to.

well the ALS (Anti Lag System) is used to keep the turbo spooled so you have no lag coming out of turns... its really neat, you get loud BANGS and fire ***** out the back of your car. If you've seen Initial D anime, then its referred to as the "Misfiring System". I know for a fact, the Haltech Standalone ECU's have an option to operate in this mode. However, it is bad for the turbo... so doing this constantly is bad.

Boosting within the turn is not overly difficult, if you know how to drive on boost then you can take down just about anything that you race. It's all about throttle control. I've done plenty of driving in boost, in turns and a puckered ******* all at once. It's a little tricky in the beginning but, once you get used to it, it's second nature. Also, it pays to keep your boost tapered, so it doesn't hit super hard. Also, keeping your boost at a certain level say 10psi isnt too bad. if you have a good boost controller you can pretty much set it up for a certain way in the twisties and scramble it up to a higher level. I'm hoping my Blitz sbcid will help me drive a little faster through the turns so I won't have to reach for the switch on my profec b. keep in mind, a differential will help you out a lot, but you have to know how to drive the car first, especially if you get a 1bar worth of boost in it.

Ain't nothing like a "miisso firiing shi stem" to keep the boost up. haha, its more than just backfiring, its more like setting up preignition or detonation. the spark will hit before or after normal btdc. it's crazy ****, but, hell on the engine. I saw that on Initial D too, after i saw it on speed vision while watching WRC. I wouln't use it on a front wheel drive car. I think it would be more beneficial on a rear or all wheel drive vehicle personally.

guess i'd better start saving for a Quaife and start practicing ASAP. I'd hate to think that I would just get murdered racing a N/A car through some turns.

well actually its backfiring on purpose... the ecu dumps extra fuel and ignites it sending a massive backfire through the turbo to keep it spooled... its hell on the turbo...
